BBC Bitesize

Great resource covering a range of subjects for LKS2. This is a great website to support with understanding terminology in English and the methods used in Maths.


Times Tables Rockstars

This is a great maths game for children, which parents have already been emailed about.  All children received logins and we have recently re-issued them. If you are unsure, please contact your child’s class teacher who will support you in this.

Times Tables Rockstars helps children to learn their multiplication and corresponding division facts.



NRich is a brilliant maths website where they have recommended ages for each activity.

Topmarks is a brilliant maths website containing a huge bank of online Maths games to help children practise and consolidate skills across the maths curriculum.

This is another website that is free to sign up to and has things such as animated stories and games.


Oxford Owl

Oxford Owl have free E-Books for ages 3-11 yrs.


Website Planet


YouTube Kids

YouTube Kids is an app (rather than online like YouTube) that can be downloaded for free.  It has far better parental controls that YouTube and so we would recommend its download.  Once on, you can search for lots of games and activities, e.g. children’s yoga and mindfulness for when you all need a bit of calm (try Cosmic Kids), top 10 home science experiments, Dance etc

CBBC Newsround

CBBC Newsround is a children's news programme which is updated daily enabling children to keep up with current affairs on a child-friendly level.


IT Sites:

Dance Mat Typing

This is a great way for children to learn to touch type – a really useful skill to have and very important as online learning becomes more prevalent.



This is a coding program where you can create your own stories, games and animations.


City Creator

This is a design and create program where children can design and construct their own buildings, towns and cities.

A simple animating program which allows children to build their own figures or objects and load their own backgrounds.

Scribble Maps is a real-time mapping program which enables children to create and map different journeys to familiar places and beyond.
