Philip Gay - Governor Pen Portrait

I have lived on the Barlow Hall Estate for 11 years now, and have had various positions on the Governing Body of Barlow Hall during much of this time. I have an overall interest in the opportunities for all and especially educational opertunities. I get excited by what has, is and no doubt will continue to evolve at Barlow Hall School, which I see as a microcosm of the local area!

My working role is best described as a non-ordained minister in the Church of England. Locally I am linked with St Clements Parish Church Chorlton, where my responsibilities include working with Schools in the area, and the small church of St Barnabas on the Corner of Hardy Lane and Hurstville Road.  I like to think of my role on the Estate being in community development, looking out for what is best for all, being involved in various local organisations such as the school, local residents association (Barlow Hall Neighbourhood Group) and the church and local Trussell Trust Network foodbank.
