Spring has sprung with Yellow Day at Barlow Hall
Breaking up for Easter at Barlow Hall is always a very special day, not only because we have our annual Easter Eggstravaganza Easter Egg and Bonnet competition, but because the normally blue playground becomes reminiscent of Wordsworth's 'Host of Golden Daffodills' with navy blue school sweatshirts swapped for a variety of shades of yellow.
The playground especially was awash with yellow and it was easy to see that spring is finally with us. The children loved their Yellow Day as always and not only because they went home with a chocolate Easter chick, but somehow it seemed as if the world lightened and the sun shone down as the children continued to practice for our new Daily Mile run which you will all hear about next term when it is fully launched.
Happy Easter and best wishes for a safe and happy holidays.
