Fire Service visit Barlow Hall

This week our Year 6 and Reception class had a visit from the fire service!

They talked to Reception Class about fire safety and gave the children and staff a a tour of a fire engine.

Not only the children had a go spraying the fire hose  too but Reception Class staff also had lots of fun showing off their hose skills, especially Mr. George who had a brilliant time pretending to be a fireman

Year 6 children took place in the Fireservice's annual 'Treacle Visit'. The campaign is designed to highlight the dangers and possible consequences of antisocial behaviour, criminal damage and the misuse of fireworks,  and sees Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, Greater Manchester Police. local authorities, the Health and Safety Executive and Transport for Greater Manchester working together in an effort to ensure a safe bonfire night for Greater Manchester residents.
