Barlow Hall Primary School's 4B's Orchard Project

The 4Bs ORCHARD PROJECT NEEDS YOU!

WEDNESDAY 4th DECEMBER 9.30am

We need volunteers!

We've stripped the turf, planted the bulbs and now we need to plant the trees for Barlow's Blossoms, Bees and Butterflies to become a reality.

If you are someone who spends time in the gym, we would like to invite you for forego the warmth of a sweaty gym for one day, and get outside in our very own Green Gym!

We have 20 fruit trees to plant, which also means knocking in 40 stakes to support them while they establish on windy Darley Avenue. We're then going to mulch them with some bark.

“Many hands make light work”, so please lend us your hands for one day to help create something beautiful for the future.

The school are going to provide us with some welcome refreshments and lunch will be provided.

You will need to be wearing suitable clothing and footwear and bring waterproofs, as we will probably get quite mucky! We will provide gloves but if you have your own, please bring them too.

There will be a SIGN-UP SHEET in the office – please do put your name down if you would like to be a part of this. It really helps if we know how many volunteers we will have on the day.

We look forward to seeing you!
