Barlow Hall is an accredited school and training school for Reading Recovery. Reading Recovery is a well-established intervention scheme for children with reading difficulties. The programme provides daily half-hour sessions with specially trained Reading Recovery teachers. You can read more about what we are doing here.
The International Centre for Reading Recovery, based at the Institute of Education in London, provides training for individual teachers, as well as managing the national Every Child a Reader programme, which has Reading Recovery at its core. Barlow Hall won a National award for our work with communities and families.
